FIRST THINGS FIRST
– a manifesto
First Things First is a manifesto expressing a protest. Ken Garland published it in 1964 in collaboration with 20 other designers, artists, photographers. It was modified later in 1999 and issued on the magazine Adbusters one year later. First Things First is a protest against the mainstream design; it's a heartfelt protest, painful, to read in silent but to think out loud. The layout of the text has been designed to respect the feeling and the weight of the words.

For the project it was asked to use only one font in one weight as the only graphic element of the project – Akkurat Regular.
